Following the extraordinary fundraising efforts of the Melbourne Storm community, RedZed is proud to announce that we are making a $50,000 donation to the Royal Children’s Hospital’s Good Friday Appeal to take the Storm Family’s contribution to a grand total of $100,000.

Each year, the Good Friday Appeal brings together people from all parts of the community to raise much needed funds for equipment, research and education at The Royal Children’s Hospital. The great strength of the Appeal lies with the thousands of people from all walks of life, who volunteer their time, expertise and creativity to organise fundraising activities throughout the year.

The Melbourne Storm partnered with the Good Friday Appeal for the first time in 2021, helping to celebrate 90 years of giving for the kids at the Royal Children’s Hospital.

RedZed Managing Director, Evan Dwyer, said “We are so thrilled to be able to support the Storm and make a contribution to the Good Friday Appeal. The Royal Children’s Hospital does an amazing job in supporting kids and their families through some very difficult times, and we hope this donation can continue helping families for years to come.”

Melbourne Storm CEO, Justin Rodski, said “We have had great support from all of our partners, but for RedZed to step up and match the funds we have raised tonight was extremely generous as well. Evan and his team were very quick to make the commitment when we first partnered with the Good Friday Appeal.”
